The HVAC technician will be skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. You will be responsible for air quality systems from installation to end-of-life, performing maintenance and emergency repairs on a wide variety of HVAC units./ppTo be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills./ppstrongHVAC Technician Responsibilities:/strong/pulliMaintain and adhere to all safety measures/lili3+ years experience as an HVAC service/install technician/liliAbility to pass a background check and drug screen/liliAbility to work after hours on weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice./liliAbility to work in confined spaces./liliAssisting with customers queries./liliClimb stairs and ladders work from heights/liliCompleting the SAP orders and returning them to the scheduler/liliComplying with service standards, work instructions and customers requirements/liliDiagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions, then performing the appropriate HVAC system repairs/liliEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification/liliExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal - excellent customer service skills/liliFollow regulations regarding the conservation, recovery, and recycling of refrigerants/liliFunction/Work in extreme temperatures/liliHigh school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent./liliIdentifying maintenance risks on equipment./liliInstall electrical components and wiring related to the HVAC systems/liliInstalling, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment./liliLift heavy materials or equipment/liliMaintaining the repair parts and filter inventory/liliPerforming emergency repairs promptly and efficiently./liliPerforming routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems/liliProficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and work plans/liliProperly handle and dispose of fluids and pressurized gases/liliRecharging refrigerant levels, checking for leaks, and ensuring the refrigerant cycle is functioning correctly in air conditioning systems/liliRecommend maintenance to improve system performance/liliReplace filters cleans systems check and clean condensate drains/liliREQUIRED STATE LICENSING for HVAC technicians must meet local codes/liliUnderstanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, and heating./liliValid drivers license and a clean driving record/li/ulpCushman Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
