Overview

Project Manager (Remote) at Focused HR Solutions. This opening is currently listed as 9-12+ months with the option of extension, and work is mostly remote within Wisconsin or in-office as required. Onsite days in Madison, WI may be required once per month; in-person interviews are required for the first round.

Note: Candidates must be CURRENT Wisconsin residents. No relocation outside of Wisconsin is allowed.

Responsibilities

• Management of project timeliness, quality of effort, scope monitoring, budget, resource assignment, and escalation of issues.
• Lead project teams and facilitate project meetings, elicit requirements, set agendas, and provide project status reports per the communication plan.
• Develop and coordinate the project plan, monitor vendor delivery, timelines, and milestone completion.
• Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders and manage all project aspects within the defined budget.
• Liaise with the portfolio owner and update progress; collaborate with the sponsor and business representatives to ensure business requirements are met.
• Define and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and identify user training needs; coordinate with the transition manager to integrate training and transition plans.
• Report on transition management activities, deliverables, and status.

Qualifications

Top Required Skills & Years of Experience

• 5+ years of leading large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• 5+ years of experience managing technology (software/system/product) implementation projects.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile/Hybrid project management methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills

• 5+ years of vendor management experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing interconnected projects within a larger program.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (software development life cycle).
• Ability to interact effectively with business and technology areas (soft and technical skills).
• PMP certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred but not required.
