Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $23.47-26.97/HR. (Based on experience)

Hours: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

We're seeking a Quality Control Inspector with 3-5 years of experience to perform detailed inspections and ensure conformance to engineering specifications in a manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing:

* Receive, visually inspect, count, and check in all received items, documenting and processing relevant information.
* Perform a variety of visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections to verify that parts meet specified requirements.
* Use precision measuring tools to check complex parts for conformity to engineered drawings and verify operator inspection records.
* Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
* Document non-conformances and make acceptance or rejection decisions as needed.
* Conduct inspections at outside vendors for machined parts and assemblies.
* Operate overhead cranes and material moving equipment to transport received items.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
* Inspect, certify, and perform minor repairs on precision instruments and gauges.
* Follow safety protocols and hazardous waste handling procedures in compliance with EPA regulations.
* Ensure work is produced on time and meets ISO 9001 requirements.

Must-Have Qualifications:

* Completion of two to four years at a Trade or Technical School, or equivalent experience.
* Proficiency in advanced shop mathematics and ability to read and interpret complex drawings, charts, and specifications.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in quality inspection using precision measuring tools.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
* Good hand-eye coordination (eye test required) and the ability to work in both hot and cold environments.
